Who We Are
We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At O’Connor Hearing, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff combines over 80 years of expertise in hearing healthcare, and is well-trained on a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.
We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Claudia Beth Williams
Licensed Hearing Specialist, President and Co-Owner
Claudia Beth Williams is President and Co-Owner of O’Connor Hearing Center. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she majored in Teacher Education-Special Education for the Hearing Impaired and obtained an IIC Advanced Specialist Degree in “Language Acquisition, Socialization and Psychology of the Hearing Impaired”. She has completed graduate studies in Psychosocial Aspects of Aging, and Work and Retirement.

Clinical Audiologist, Co-Owner
Thomas E. O’Connor, M.A., CCC-A, FAAA, is an experienced clinical audiologist with over 40 years experience in audiometric testing and fitting hearing aids. Before starting private practice in 2007, Mr. O’Connor was manager of the adult hearing aid services at the Hearing Rehabilitation Center for the University of Michigan Health Service for 12 years. He held the position of Clinical Supervisor in the Audiology Department of his Alumni school, Michigan State University for 5 years.

Audiologist
Catherine Buchele received her Masters of Arts Degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. Cathy is licensed by the state of Michigan and holds her Certification of Clinical Competence through the American Speech- Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Cathy has held audiology positions in clinical, hospital and educational settings, and has worked with hearing impaired people of all ages for over 20 years. She is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
