Choosing the right hearing aid starts with a clear understanding of your unique hearing loss needs. Our advanced testing procedures accurately identify whether or not you have hearing loss and measure the type and severity.
Meeting your hearing and communication needs starts with an expert evaluation of your hearing ability. Your case history will be reviewed and your ears examined as part of the evaluation. Then Immittance Testing, Air Conduction Testing, Bone Conduction Testing and Speech Testing will be performed. Your hearing sensitivity thresholds will be identified as you sit in a sound booth, wear headphones and respond to pure tones produced by an audiometer. Evaluating your ability to hear is painless

If your audiologic evaluation reveals the need for hearing aids, we will take the time to discuss your lifestyle, preferences and budget. You’ll receive the right style with the important features to help you hear and communicate better.
More on Evaluation for Hearing AidsFitting hearing aids shouldn’t be stressful. Just as with hearing evaluations, we encourage you to bring a support individual. At the fitting appointment, Real Ear Measurements will be used to further adjust your hearing aids to your needs. The fitting will also be checked as you wear your new hearing aids in our sound booth. Complete training on wearing and caring for your hearing aids is also provided. You’ll even have a follow-up appointment just to check with you to see that everything is fine. Then, be sure to stop in for free batteries as long as your hearing aids are under warranty.

Many repairs can be performed while you wait. If the repairs must be done at the factory, we’ll even handle shipping for you. Like with any device, proper maintenance is key to optimal performance. Bring your hearing aids in regularly for deep cleaning.
