Hearing Aid Price Range

What are the differences in prices and the hearing aids?

The different price levels vary by the sophistication of the hearing aid technology, the computer chip processing, the features within the aid, and variability in programming i.e. (how flexible-adjustable or tunable it is.)

Important technology to consider is speech processing, and processing separating speech and noise, and how many situations the aids are able to identify and how they either automatically or manually adjust for each. Some features (e.g. Bluetooth connectivity, rechargeability, single sided deafness accommodation) are only available in higher level hearing aids. Each manufacturer is excellent, each excels in a certain feature or technological aspect of amplification. There are hundreds of variations. The art, and science of Audiology, and our services, selecting the right fit for you, and further fine tuning it for your preferences are the reasons for choosing O’Connor Hearing Center for your hearing care needs.

In most cases, the style or exterior design of the instrument, or battery size (ultra mini to x-large and powerful,} will not change the price. The complexity of the software, and the features will directly increase the price5
