You should also arrange a follow-up appointment with your audiologist. This is not going to be as extensive as your hearing aid fitting. However, it is the perfect opportunity for your audiologist to make sure that the hearing device is working correctly. They will also be able to make any tweaks that are required to ensure that the hearing aid is working right for you.
