Phonak DECT Phone

PhonaPhonak Phonek has a new landline telephone that streams directly to any wireless Phonak hearing aid…no body worn device required! Just pick up the phone and hold it near your mouth and the signal is streamed directly to both hearing aids.

Oticon has a “Phone Adapter” that connects to your landline telephone and pairs with the Oticon “StreamerPro”.  When your telephone rings, the ring is heard in the hearing aids and with the touch of a button on your Streamer, you will hear the caller in your hearing aids and the caller hears you through the Streamer.  Your telephone stays on the cradle up to 30 feet away!

 

Amplicom PowerTel 720 Assure + Phone

This amplified cordless telephone (DECT) with answering machine is ideal for the hard of hearing and hearing aid users. The integrated answering machine is capable of 11 minutes of recording time. The PowerTel 720 Assure+  Amplified Telephone is capable of two progAmplicom-PT720-Amplicom-Amplified-DECT-Cordless-Phone-with-Answering-Machine-img1rammable personalized settings allowing different users to operate the telephone with their preferred personal settings; the volume and tone control of this amplified telephone for the hard of hearing can be set according to the user’s preference and saved for when the user wishes to use the phone. The PowerTel 720 Assure+ Amplified Telephone is hearing aid compatible and comes with a connection for a headset or an induction loop. There is also a hands free speakerphone on the handset

Many hearing aids have a way of streaming the TV signal wirelessly to the aids allowing the TV volume to be at a comfortable level for everyone in the room! The actual size is only three to six inches wide.  Depending on the hearing aid, some are used with a “Streamer” that also allows connection to your Bluetooth-enabled cellphone. Other hearing aids connect just by walking close to the TV and then returning to your easy chair to enjoy the program.

The Sennheiser Set 840 S is an RF stereo TV assistive listening system which is perfect for wearers of hearing aids. Directly connectable to a TV, hi-fi system or radio, the cordless Set 840 S guarantees outstanding sound quality. The user can add a induction loop to use with a hearing aid telecoil. The device can also be connected with good quality earbuds to use without a hearing aid.
